This  4-stage filters Replacement provides a 99% reduction rate of bacteria, pesticides, herbicides, and heavy metals from tap water.
 
The main stage in this system is the RO membrane. All the other replacement filters serve and protect that membrane.
 
If the pre-filters fail to work due to poor quality, your RO membrane will not give you a 99% reduction rate.
 
PuroMax Reverse Osmosis includes three filters and a membrane that must be replaced periodically.
 
The different filters represent the different stages that the water goes through while being purified.
 
Generally - Pre-Filters and post-Filters in RO systems can last around 8 To 12 months between changes.
 
Our organic RO membranes can last as long as five years.
 
Stage 1
Sediment filters are the first filter installed in the PuroMax 4-stage water filter system.
The primary function of a sediment filter is to remove large and fine particles from drinking water, such as sand, dirt, silt, and rust particles. Removal of such particles allows for a better performance of all the following filters, such as carbon block or GAC filters.

This filter is wrapped and sealed and meets NSF Standards and Regulations.

Organic activated carbon block filters are made of fine coconut shell carbon to remove odors and tastes of many organic compounds and chlorine.
Because these filters are made of packed carbon (forming a cylinder block), they offer a much finer filtration of suspended particles and dirt.

A 100% Organic - 50 GPD NSF certified thin film TFC Membrane is the main component of PuroMax 4 stage filters water systems filters, made with 100% Organic fine thin film flat sheet with a 99% reduction rate of bacteria, pesticides, herbicides, and heavy metals from tap water.
Only the original organic membrane has The micron rating of a thin film less than 1/10000th of a Micron, which is 620,000 times finer than A human hair, 2,500 times smaller than bacteria, and 20 Times smaller than any virus.
